With Yardi Integration, SMRT Operations Manager will be pulling Resident and Unit Information from Yardi, and importing it into SMRT Operations Manager. This pull of information will happen each day at midnight, and resident changes made in Yardi will be reflected automatically in SMRT Operations Manager within 24 hours. In addition to the pull of information from Yardi, we will also be exporting resident work order information back into Yardi. Moving forward, all resident-reported tasks created in SMRT Operations Manager (i.e. from the SightPlan Resident Portal, Answering Service, etc.) will be imported into SMRT Operations Manager. You can then manage your resident tasks in SightPlan, per usual, and once it is completed in SMRT Operations Manager, it would then be exported back into Yardi. It’s important to note that all tasks need to be managed within SMRT Operations Manager, and the results will be exported back into Yardi.
By enabling this integration, the management of residents in SMRT Operations Manager is going to be limited, and any changes to contact information, or the ability to add residents, will need to be done in Yardi.
To complete the Yardi integration, there are a few steps and some information that we will need to collect:
Your Yardi technical support team will need to be contacted to obtain the add-on package to load SMRT Operations Manager into the list of available third-party vendors in Voyager.
Once you have contacted the Yardi Team, Yardi tech support will load the newly downloaded vendor package to your hosted account and add SMRT Operations Manager into your Voyager database.
After Yardi tech support has installed the “Vendor Package”, you will need to configure the optional vendor parameters and property(ies) for SMRT Operations Manager. In addition to this, you will also need to create a security group and an interface user for SMRT Operations Manager.
Once the Service Request Interface is configured, you can then configure the Common Data (Sometimes referred to as Resident Data) Interface, and SMRT Operations Manager will be an available option. Please make sure that all permissions are granted to allow for SMRT Operations Manager to access Resident Data.
After the vendor package has been successfully added, interfaces successfully configured, they will be able to provide the following credentials to the SMRT Operations Manager Team to complete the integration:
• API URL:
• Interface username:
• Password:
• Server:
• Database:
• Property ID (PM ID):
Once created, email these credentials to our support team and reference the Organization and Site that they would like to enable. With that, the Implementation Team will be able to complete the integration and update the site team once it is completed.
Frequently Asked Questions

With the Bi-Directional Integration, SMRT Operations Manager will export all tasks in the Maintenance Work Space back to Yardi.

With the integration in place, we will be updating resident information from Yardi every 24 hours. If you need to update more frequently, in the Resident Section, you can select the blue refresh button in the top right-hand corner.
